The spirit or demon will provide the wearer or owner with the protection from the spirit or demon, the wearer or buyer pay a lot of money to buy a kong tau talisman, and is said to be more useful, since the spirit can help the wearer or owner to do evil things upon command ,as well as protecting the owner.
However the Kong Tau talisman energy can be absorbed by Taoist practitioner using the Tao God's energy to absorb the kong tau energy.
