CID HQ...The 13th Cells ( A place the gangsters don't called "home" )

The CID detectives And the Gangsters.

A two weeks stay is enough to last a life- time.

In the 50's every village was rule by a gang, or part of a village by one gang, another area of the village by another gang. The gang collected money from shop owner, the gang members protected the shop and the owner. A shop owner only paid to one gang.

The youth hanged around coffee shop, disturbed young girls, and a person from another gang came to their territory then there were conflict or fight. The detectives on duty knew all the gang members, they took the particulars of every youth hanging in the coffee shop or street corner.

The gangsters often fought other gang members over the control of the Territory or some gang's issue. The detectives came to round up all the members, those not involved were released after 2 weeks. The new gang members became good men after a 2 week detention in CID. Few men stay with the gang after released.
